With addictions, your mind is so preoccupied with whatever you're addicted to that it makes performing other tasks extremely difficult, if not impossible. Addictions are detrimental to your health, your mind, your life.
So how do you preserve your mental health? The most important thing to do is relax. It allows your mind to rest and rejuvenate, so that you can tackle all the trials and tribulations of life.
