Your Body, Your Temple
Ah, the age-old adage that your body is your temple. It's true, you know. Think about all those times you were sick: Your mind was numb with pain, every part of your body hurt, you were ready to die. It's not a pleasant feeling.
Or remember the time when you broke your leg? The pain was probably excruciating, if not worse. And the worst part about it was that you were incapacitated for some time. You couldn't do anything you wanted to, or at the very least, it made doing everything much more difficult.
Now try to picture all those moments of pain and discomfort on a regular basis. Neglecting your body will result in physical problems every day of your life, and it only gets worse the longer you neglect your body.
So keep your body strong. Keep it healthy. Your body allows you to do so much. It's a wonder of nature, and to just throw it away would be a tragedy. True it's your body and you can do with it however you feel, but remember, you're the only one to suffer if you neglect your body.
